Painting a stairwell, clearing gutters, boarding a loft hatch, fitting a light in a double-height hall — all of it is safer and faster from a platform than from a ladder. And hiring for a week costs a fraction of buying a tower you will use twice.

Which one for a home project

Folding tower — the easiest to live with. Opens in ten minutes, folds flat, goes through any doorway. Right for most indoor jobs.

4m mobile tower — for exterior walls, gutters and garage roofs.

750mm single width — for hallways, landings and side returns where space is tight.

Stairway tower — a staircase instead of a ladder, worth it on a long job.

What you need to know before you book

  • Towers arrive flat-packed. Two people can build one; one person can manage the

folding tower.

  • You need a firm, level base — a driveway, patio or solid floor.
  • Deploy the stabilisers before you climb, and lock the castors.
  • Never move the tower with anyone or anything on the platform.
  • Read the assembly guide that comes with it. If anything is unclear, call us.

How hire works

  2. Enter your postcode — you will see your delivery date and the available slots
  3. We deliver in a morning or afternoon slot
  4. We collect on your last day — you do not need to be in, as long as we can reach it

Can I hire as a private customer, not a trade account?

Yes. You get the same certified towers, the same free delivery and the same assembly guide as the trade customers. There is no trade-only restriction and no account needed.

I have never used a tower. Is it safe for me to build one?

Every tower comes with the manufacturer's assembly guide and the build is designed to be done without tools. That said, the honest answer is that towers are safe when built to the sequence and dangerous when they are not — read the guide before you start, fit the stabilisers before you climb, and never move a tower with someone on it. If you would rather not build it, add our installation service and we will do it for you.

Which tower should I hire for a normal house?

For gutters, fascias and painting on a two-storey house, a 6m working height is the usual answer. For a single-storey extension or a tall interior ceiling, 4m. If the tower has to come through the house to the back garden, choose a 750mm platform — a standard internal door is about 762mm.

Do I need a van to collect it?

No — we deliver and collect, free, everywhere we serve. You do not need to transport it at all. What we do need is somewhere legal to stop close to the property and someone there to take the tower.

Can I build it by myself?

Most models can be built by one person, but check the assembly guide supplied with your tower — some sizes specify two. Never move a tower with anyone on it, fit the stabilisers before you climb, and if any of that sounds uncertain, add our installation service and we will build it for you.

Am I covered if something goes wrong?

Check your own home insurance before you start — cover for DIY at height varies and we cannot advise on your policy. What we can tell you is that the tower is inspected before it leaves us, comes with the manufacturer's assembly guide, and that damage is assessed fairly and evidenced with photographs.
