Enfield is about 4 miles from the yard, which makes it one of the shortest runs we do. Delivery and collection are free and included in the price on the tower page, and short-notice dates are more likely here than anywhere else we serve. We cover EN2, EN1, N21, N9 and EN3.

Those codes reach further than the town sign does: Northaw and Cuffley fall inside them, and we deliver there on the same terms. They also run over the boundary into Barnet and Welwyn Hatfield, so if your address is nominally in the next borough it is very likely still on our route. Southbury is covered from here too — we do not run separate pages for them, but the van goes. Enfield shares a run with Edmonton, Southgate, Palmers Green and Waltham Cross, so if the job moves between sites in that direction it is the same delivery either way.

You choose a morning or afternoon window when you book. We do not promise timed hour slots, because on these roads that would be a promise we could not keep. Tell us if the carry from a legal stopping point is long, if there are stairs, or if parking needs a permit — those are the things that turn a fifteen-minute drop into an hour.

Which tower for your job?

Cleaning or replacing solar panels and roof fittings

Anything sitting on a pitched roof means working at the eaves and reaching up, so measure to the eaves rather than the ridge — usually a 6m to 7m working height. Take the wider deck if you can: panels, brackets and tools do not share a 750mm platform comfortably, and nobody wants to be passing them up one at a time.

Tree work, hedges and garden walls

Garden ground is the catch here, not the height. A 4m to 6m tower is plenty for most hedge and wall work, but the base has to be firm and level — soft lawn, a slope or a set of steps changes the answer. Tell us what the tower will stand on when you book and we will tell you honestly whether a tower is the right tool for it.

Two questions decide the size

How high do you need to reach? Measure to the highest point you need to touch and take off about two metres — what is left is the working height, and that is the number on every tower page here. There is a worked table in the height guide.

How will it get there? If you can reach the elevation across open ground in Enfield, take the 1.35m platform — the extra deck pays for itself on any job where two of you are working with materials up there. Where the only route is through the house or down a narrow side passage, switch to the 750mm platform instead; that one goes through a standard internal door. What comes with it

Guardrails, toeboards, stabilisers and lockable castors are part of the hire, not extras on the invoice. Every tower is inspected on turnaround and arrives with the manufacturer's assembly guide for that model.
