Delivery to Waltham Forest
We are 8 miles away, which is a comfortable run in either half of the day. Delivery and collection are free — no delivery line at checkout, no fuel or congestion surcharge — and the price on the tower page is the price you pay. We cover E17, E10, E11, E18 and N17.
They also run over the boundary into Enfield, Hackney and Haringey, so if your address is nominally in the next borough it is very likely still on our route. Waltham Forest shares a run with Walthamstow, Leyton, Wanstead and Tottenham, so if the job moves between sites in that direction it is the same delivery either way.
You choose a morning or afternoon window when you book. We do not promise timed hour slots, because on these roads that would be a promise we could not keep. Tell us if the carry from a legal stopping point is long, if there are stairs, or if parking needs a permit — those are the things that turn a fifteen-minute drop into an hour.
Which tower for your job?
Plastering and boarding out an upper room
Interior work at ceiling height rarely needs more than a 3m to 4m working height, but it does need a deck you can stand a board on and a tower that got into the room in the first place. Folding towers open out inside; anything wider has to be carried through in components and built where it stands.
Ceilings, lighting and interior access
Indoor work has its own problem: getting the tower to the room. Folding towers roll through a doorway already assembled and open out in seconds, which is why service and maintenance crews take them. If the team will be up and down all day, a stairway tower with a proper internal stair beats a ladder frame — you go up with both hands free instead of one.
Two questions decide the size
How high do you need to reach? Measure to the highest point you need to touch and take off about two metres — what is left is the working height, and that is the number on every tower page here. There is a worked table in the height guide.
How will it get there? In Waltham Forest the question that usually decides the hire is not height, it is the route. Where the only way to the back of a property runs through the house, along a side return or up a communal stair, take the 750mm platform: its components pass through a standard 762mm internal door. The 1.35m tower has to reach the work from open ground. The size guide walks through widths, decks and doorways in full.
Still unsure after that? Send us a photo of the access on WhatsApp and we will tell you which one fits. It takes a minute, and it is a great deal cheaper than a tower that will not go where you need it.
What comes with it
Guardrails, toeboards, stabilisers and lockable castors are part of the hire, not extras on the invoice. Every tower is inspected on turnaround and arrives with the manufacturer's assembly guide for that model. If nobody on your team is PASMA trained, add our optional installation service and we will build it on delivery and take it down at collection — the hire terms set out exactly what that covers.
