Frequently Asked Questions

Booking

How does hire work?

Pick your tower, choose how many weeks you need and a delivery date, enter your postcode, and check out. We deliver on your chosen date in a morning or afternoon slot and collect on the last day of your hire.

What is the minimum hire?

One week. Hire runs in whole weeks, and the weekly rate drops from four weeks.

Why can I not pick certain dates?

The calendar only shows dates we genuinely have a tower free. A greyed-out date means it is either fully booked, too soon for us to deliver, or a Sunday.

Can I book more than one tower?

Yes. Delivery and collection is charged once per order, so ordering several towers together is cheaper than separate orders.

Can I extend the hire?

Yes — call us on +44 7366 166 658 before the collection date. That is always cheaper than placing a new order and waiting on a second delivery.

Delivery

Do you deliver to me?

We cover Greater London. Enter your postcode on any tower page and you will see straight away whether we deliver to you and how soon we can be there.

How much is delivery?

Free everywhere we serve — one price that covers both delivery and collection, charged once per order.

What time will you arrive?

You choose a morning slot (07:00–12:00) or an afternoon slot (12:00–18:00) when you book.

Do I need to be there?

For delivery, yes — or someone who can show the driver where the tower goes. For collection you do not need to be there, as long as the tower is dismantled and accessible.

Do you deliver on Sundays?

No. We deliver Monday to Saturday.

Using the tower

Do I need to be PASMA trained?

Anyone building, altering, moving or dismantling a tower should be PASMA trained or working under the direct supervision of someone who is. Read our PASMA guide.

Is the tower delivered assembled?

No — towers arrive flat-packed in components with assembly instructions. That is what lets them get through doorways and up staircases. Assembly takes 10 to 45 minutes depending on the tower.

What comes with the tower?

Guardrails, toeboards, stabilisers, lockable castors and the manufacturer's assembly guide. Every tower is inspected before it leaves our yard.

How much weight can it take?

The safe working load is on the manufacturer's plate fixed to the tower and in the assembly guide. It covers everything on the platform — the people as well as the tools and materials. If you need the figure for a particular tower before you book, call us and we will read it off the model.

Can I use it outside in the wind?

Stop work and come off a free-standing tower at around 17mph, and dismantle or tie it down at 25mph. The manufacturer's guidance supplied with the tower takes precedence.

Which tower do I need?

See our height guide and how to choose a scaffold tower, or call us and describe the job.

Payment and account

When do you take payment?

In full at the time of booking.

Do prices include VAT?

Yes. Prices shown on the site include VAT.

Do you offer trade accounts?

Yes. Apply on the trade account page — we approve manually, usually the same day.

What if I damage the tower?

Tell us as soon as you can. You are responsible for repair or replacement of components damaged beyond fair wear and tear. See our hire terms.

Still stuck?

Call +44 7366 166 658 or use the contact form. We would rather spend five minutes on the phone than have you hire the wrong tower.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest way to hire?

Book online for the exact weeks you need. Hire is charged in whole weeks with a one-week minimum, so the shortest honest booking is the cheapest one. For hires beyond a few weeks or for several towers, ask for a quote instead — that will beat booking week by week.

Can I change my dates after booking?

Call or email as early as you can and we will move them if the tower is free. Dates are held against real stock, so the earlier you tell us the more likely the change is possible.
