Three-storey frontages need 8m or more, and at that height the setup matters as much as the tower. It needs firm, level ground and the stabilisers out to their full span. If the only standing is soft or sloped, tell us before you book rather than working it out with the tower already on site.

Two questions decide the size

How high do you need to reach? Measure to the highest point you need to touch and take off about two metres — what is left is the working height, and that is the number on every tower page here. There is a worked table in the height guide.

How will it get there? If you can reach the elevation across open ground in Broxbourne, take the 1.35m platform — the extra deck pays for itself on any job where two of you are working with materials up there.
