Which tower, in one minute

Working height is the number that matters. It is the platform height plus the two metres an average person reaches above it. A 6m tower puts you at the gutter of a standard two-storey terrace; a 4m tower reaches a single-storey soffit or a raised interior ceiling.

Platform size decides where it goes, not how high. A 750mm tower passes a standard internal doorway; a 1.35m platform gives two operatives room to work but needs open ground.

Questions about these towers

How much is delivery?

Within 30km of our Cheshunt yard, nothing — delivery and collection are included in the hire price, with no separate delivery charge and nothing added at checkout. That covers North and East London, south Hertfordshire and west Essex. Beyond 30km, out to roughly 90km, it is a flat £45 covering both legs together. Enter your postcode on any tower page and it will tell you which applies before you book.

What is the minimum hire period?

One week. We do not hire by the day — a single day is charged as one week. Hire runs in whole weeks after that, and the weekly rate drops from four weeks onwards.

What comes with the tower?

Guardrails, toeboards, stabilisers, lockable castors and the assembly guide. Every tower is inspected before it leaves our yard.

When do you take payment?

In full at the time of booking. We do not take a damage deposit and nothing is held or pre-authorised on your card.

Can I cancel?

Yes — free of charge up to 24 hours before your delivery date, refunded in full. Cancellations inside 24 hours may be charged for the reserved slot.

How quickly can you deliver?

Normally the next working day inside our free 30km band, and one extra working day for the extended band beyond it. The calendar on each tower page only offers dates we can genuinely meet, so if a date appears we can hit it.

What time will you arrive?

You choose a morning slot (07:00 to 12:00) or an afternoon slot (12:00 to 18:00) when you book. We deliver Monday to Saturday.

Can I extend the hire?

Yes. Call us on +44 7366 166 658 before your collection date and we will extend it at the applicable weekly rate. Call rather than place a second order — that way the tower simply stays with you and nobody makes a wasted journey.

Does the tower arrive assembled?

No. Towers arrive flat-packed in components with the manufacturer's assembly guide. That is what lets them get through doorways and up staircases. Assembly takes 10 to 45 minutes depending on the tower.

Do I need to be PASMA trained?

Anyone building, altering, moving or dismantling a tower should be PASMA trained or working under the direct supervision of someone who is. You do not need a card simply to stand on a tower a competent person has built.

How much weight can the platform take?

The safe working load is on the manufacturer's plate fixed to the tower and in the assembly guide supplied with it. It covers everything on the platform — the people as well as the tools and materials. If you need the figure before you book, call us and we will read it off the model.

Do prices include VAT?

Yes. All prices shown on the site include VAT.

Is there a discount for multiple towers?

Yes — 15% off when you hire three or more towers on one order. It is applied automatically at checkout, with no code and no account needed.

Do I need to be there for collection?

No, as long as the tower is dismantled and accessible from the same place we delivered it.

What happens if I damage the tower?

Tell us the same day and we will tell you straight away whether it is fair wear and tear or a chargeable repair. You are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing components damaged beyond fair wear and tear — what counts as which is set out in full in our hire terms.
